In this report we detail the level of ‘on-the-ground’ activity that has ceased, providing a snapshot analysis just before restrictions on activity came into force. We also look at the impact on pipeline activity noting the decline in planning applications, planning decisions and public sector tenders and the differing approaches across both the Ireland & Northern Ireland jurisdictions.

€15.7m Residential Development
A strategic housing development application has been granted by An Bord Pleanála for a €15.7m residential development in Doughiska, Co. Galway.

Plans have been approved for a new €2.6m place of worship in Carton, Maynooth Co. Kildare.

€120m Dunkettle Interchange
Tenders for the main contract are expected to be returned from the select list of main contractors in June 2020 / July 2020 for the design and construction the €120m Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade Scheme. A main contractor is expected to be appointed in September 2020 subject to departmental approval. Advance works are ongoing onsite which are expected to be completed in September 2020.

Outline plans have been submitted for a social housing development in the Ballymagroarty neighbourhood, in Co. Derry. The proposal also includes associated open space, including a community parkland, access and associated works.
