Construction works to commence on 2,000 residential units – Pending industry restrictions being lifted in April
As it currently stands, construction will restart on a phased basis in early April. Focusing on the residential sector, CIS has identified 113 shovel ready projects comprising 1,970 units that were due to start over the period of the current lockdown and are now ready to resume.
In the Eastern & Midland region there are 52 projects consisting 1281 units. Of this, Dublin accounts for 22 projects and 504 units. In the Northern & Western region there are 123 units ready to go from 16 projects with the Southern Region having 45 projects totalling 566 units.
