Ditton granted SHD application for Deansgrange
Dublin firm, Ditton Investments, has been granted a strategic housing development application for a €35 million mixed use development comprising 151 apartments, five commercial units, a medical centre and a restaurant/ cafe on the Deansgrange Road next to Frank Keane Motors in South Co Dublin. The breakdown of apartment units for the project includes 75 one-bed apartments and 76 two-bed apartments.

Tenders out for €25m Cork social housing scheme
Tenders have been issued to main contractors for a €25 million, 112-unit social housing apartment development on Thomas David Street in Blackpool in Cork. It involves the construction of 76 general needs apartments and 36 sheltered apartments for older residents in five separate blocks. Cluid Housing Association is carrying out the procurement process for the tenders.
€22.7m BTR scheme for Dublin 9
Roseberry Investments has been given the green light to build 124 build-to-rent apartments at the lands of the Bonnington Hotel on Swords Road in Whitehall, Dublin 9. It consists of 48 one-bedroom units and 76 two-bedroom units, each with a private balcony or terrace. Communal facilities include a management office, post room, children’s room, games room, coffee dock, reading/media room, group/yoga room, DIY bicycle repair room, and garden room.

Stillorgan’s €50m Grange apartment scheme underway
John Paul Construction has started work on a €50 million apartment development adjacent to The Grange on Brewery Road/Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan, Blackrock, Co Dublin. The residential development provides for 287 apartment units (19 studio units, 125 one-bed units and 143 two-bed units).

Hollyhill to start Waterford residential works in Q2 2021
Construction works are expected to start in Q2 2021 on a €20 million residential scheme in Knockboy on the Dunmore Road in Co Waterford. The Hollyhill Developments-owned site has planning permission to allow for the construction up to 89 home units. The project breakdown provides for 57 houses and 32 apartments.
Works initiated at €42m residential scheme in north Dublin
Groundworks have commenced to allow for the construction of a €42 million residential development on Swords Road, Dublin 9. Eastwise Homes has planning permission for 374 units comprising 51 one-bed apartments, 256 two-bed apartments, 67 three-bed apartments. Castlehaven Finance is lending €65.8 million to the developer to build on this key Dublin site.
Application submitted for 249 apartments in Dublin 18
Park Developments has submitted a strategic housing application to build 249 apartments in three blocks of up to eight stories, with a landmark part 12/part 13-storey element in Block 1 (within the north east area of the site), over lower and upper basement levels. The €54.7 million apartment development is located at Murphystown Way, Dublin 18. A decision is expected to be made on the application by January 2021.
